That's who we should be mourning today, not the man who pardoned a presidential criminal and gave the green light to the genocide in East Timor. To give you a little perspective on what happened to the Timorese, if something similar were to be unleashed on us, at least one member of your immediate family would have been killed. Every typical family of four lost at least one family member.
Every family.
Take your spouse, your kid, your mom, your dad, your brother, your sister, and you. Now kill any two of them, and you have East Timor.
