Thanks to the Cracker-- who is way too kind-- the cat is out of the bag, so I might as well start bragging. My band The West Coast Turnaround (Papa Top's West Coast Turnaround for all the old timers) will soon be celebrating the release of its CD Greatest Hits Volume II.
I'm already celebrating because I just found out that one of the tracks-- "The Gear Jam"-- has been picked up as part of the soundtrack for a motion picture. I don't know the name of the film or how its being used, all I know is that the CD hasn't had its official release yet and we're already getting a couple of nickles thrown at us, which is a pretty cool, and a good omen, I think.
We're having out release party on February 8 at the Hi-Tone Cafe so MARK YOUR CALENDERS. The cover charge is $10 and everyone who attends gets a copy of the disc.
If you would like to contribute to the twins college fund by purchasing a copy of Greatest Hits Volume II but can't make the party you can buy it online at CD Baby.
