TN GOP Chair and
now former member of the state's Human Rights Commission Robin Smith, who once
came all the way to Memphis to tell the world how much Republicans love black people, wrote
this to Governor Bredesen shortly after coming under fire for releasing
that silly video attacking Michelle Obama:
I would’ve chosen to let these hollow accusations fall without answer had it not been for my children coming to me with concern and for understanding. You see, my son’s best friend for the last many years is African American who vacations with us and enjoys our home as his.
Still no word on how
articulate the young man is.
