Poor paranoid Mick thought I was tweaking him personally in this post. I was only expressing shock at the quote he unearthed in the Commercial Appeal's comments* but my one word post resulted in a paragraph's response about the lowdown nature of the radical left.

I was just going to let it sit there. But when a conservative ideologue tosses the star spangled banner to his hound it's time to settle some scores.

*Adding: No rational person should be disturbed that the CA changed its headline. That's what editors are paid to do. Although for financial reasons it's not encouraged entire press runs have been stopped because a big boss editor decided he didn't like what some lower tier editor ran with. That's going to happen online too. It's only an issue if there is something particularly scandalous about the original header or if the newspaper tries to deny what it's done. These first draft Nazis** are precious.
